HMC has approved district cooling system, with a high level of reliability and a long life span of the district cooling plant

NewsHamad Medical Corporation (HMC) has accepted the district cooling system, which Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) has announced. The district cooling system has a high degree of dependability, a long lifespan for the district cooling plant, as well as cost-savings and cost-effectiveness.
Kahramaa continued, "HMC has replaced conventional cooling devices with a more sustainable and efficient district cooling system, a suitable and superior alternative to its predecessor due to positive results achieved in line with the need for continuous cooling at health facilities, which necessitates the provision of adequate and continuous cooling services constantly."
The West Energy Centre, which currently has a cooling capacity of 12,500 tonnes and will have a future cooling capacity of 20,000 tonnes, is home to the Hamad General Hospital, the Surgical Speciality Centre, the new Trauma and Emergency Centre building, administrative buildings and service facilities of the HMC.
The Western Energy Centre, which supplies the Hamad General Hospital, the Specialised Surgery Centre, the new accident and emergency building, administrative buildings and service facilities of Hamad Medical Corporation, was visited by Eng. Jamal Yousef Al-Derbasti, Director of the District Cooling Services Department at Kahramaa.
