Hurry enthusiasts! LAST CALL to apply for volunteer positions at FIFA World Cup 2022

News EventsThe deadline for applying to be a volunteer at the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022 ends on Sunday, July 31, according to the Supreme Committee for Delivery and Legacy and the International Football Association. Interviews with candidates will end on August 13 with only 100 days left on the site.
It is expected that at least 20,000 volunteers will be supporting the operational aspects of the world Cup. Volunteers play an active role towards the success of the operation of World Cup as they perform 30 different roles over 45 of the operational areas. It is a highly prestigious event as it is the first edition of international competition being held in the Arab World, beginning November 21 and ending on December 18. Eight stadium that are all set and designed with the highest standards will be utilised for the competition.
The opening for application of the volunteering program was conducted during a formal ceremony last March held at the open theatre of Katara Cultural Village. This was announced by the International Football Association (FIFA) and since then applicants from over 170 countries had been interviewed for the program. Moreover, volunteers who supported prior events held in Qatar under the authority of FIFA, such as the Club World cup 2020 and Arab Cup 2021, also actively supported the process of conducting interviews.

Candidate standards:
Volunteers must be 18 years of age or older by October 1, 2022
Speak English fluently
Commit to at least 10 rotations during the tournament.
Candidates should be aware that some positions start earlier than October 1.
