Investment Hub Pavilion under the theme "A green desert, a better environment," was inaugurated at Expo 2023 Doha

Under the theme "A green desert, a better environment," the Investment Hub Pavilion at Expo 2023 Doha, which will be held in Qatar from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024, was officially opened by Minister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani in the presence of Minister of Municipality and Chairman of the national committee for hosting the Horticultural Expo 2023 Doha, H E Dr Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie.

The "Investment Hub" pavilion, according to the minister of commerce and industry, offers a fantastic venue for strengthening trade, industry, and investment ties with the exhibiting nations.

He clarified that the purpose of the "Investment Hub" pavilion is to exhibit Qatar's national economy and its significant position in the region and beyond. The purpose of the pavilion is to present businesspeople and investors from across the world to Qatar's investment climate and exciting prospects.

During their visit of the Investment Hub pavilion, the Ministers of Municipality and Commerce and Industry learned about some of the most noteworthy projects and efforts that the participating entities had to offer. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Media City Qatar, Qatar Financial Centre, Qatar Free Zones Authority, Investment Promotion Agency Qatar, and Qatar Science and Technology Park are some of these organisations.

Visitors may explore the investing path through an interactive experience provided by the pavilion. It emphasises the benefits and specialised assistance offered to investors at every stage of the process, from establishment to expansion.

The pavilion's participating organisations provided information on the business climate and programmes designed to streamline corporate procedures, including regulatory and administrative needs.

Some of the most significant laws and legislation passed to promote foreign investments are on display at the pavilion. Among these is the legislation that governs the use of non-Qatari funds for economic endeavours and permits foreign investors to hold a 100% stake in a number of industries. It also includes the laws governing partnerships between the public and commercial sectors and real estate ownership and usage by non-Qatari nationals.

It is important to note that the Investment centre Pavilion's participation at Expo 2023 Doha is intended to strengthen Qatar's standing as a major worldwide and regional centre for business.
