NewsWith its Tarsheed Smart EV Charging Platform project, the Qatar General Electricity and Water Corporation (Kahramaa) took home one of the prizes at the 25th Gulf Engineering Forum. The robotics and smart systems category saw the project's selection. Over 500 people attended the meeting to talk about the newest developments in the engineering industry.
The occasion brings together decision-makers from the local and regional levels to debate problems and devise answers pertaining to the best use of engineering to overcome obstacles. It provides a forum for exchanging ideas, experiences, and clever engineering solutions.
This is the first time that Kahramaa has received this award from the forum, which also recognised several physicians, engineering pioneers from other Gulf nations, and leaders of engineering organisations in the area. The Sustainable City in Dubai received an award for its efforts.
Two days of talks and workshops covering subjects including bioengineering, medical biotechnology, building systems, and infrastructure were led by a group of researchers, engineers, and academics.
