A workshop on "Caricature Art" for kids is being held by the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara). The five-day course will be led by artist Noor El Hadi and is a part of Katara's educational and training seminars for all age groups.
The programme, which is hosted in Building 19, seeks to teach kids between the ages of 10 and 16 the special abilities required for this art form and help them identify their own strengths in it.
Additionally, it attempts to help kids grasp how language and image work together to tell a story from a cultural perspective. The child's imaginative abilities are enhanced by this blend of schooling and art.
