Local agricultural produce yards will open on November 3
With the aim to encourage public to support national products by purchasing fresh local vegetables directly from Qatari farms, the Ministry, represented by the Department of Agricultural Affairs, will open five of its local agricultural produce yards this Thursday, November 3.
The five winter markets are located in Al Mazrooah, Al Khor-Al Thakhira, Al Wakrah, Al Sheehaniya, and Al Shamal, that will be offering farm fresh products at competitive prices.
Al Mazrooah, Al Khor-Al Thakhira, and Al Wakrah yards will operate daily (all days of the week) from 7 am to 2 pm, while the Al Sheehaniya and Al Shamal yards will be open on weekends (Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays) from 7 am to 2 pm.
