Medication home delivery benefits increasing number of people with high levels of satisfaction

Medication home delivery, a relatively new service in Qatar's healthcare sector, continues to help a growing number of individuals, with customers reporting high levels of satisfaction.

In 2024, home delivery services provided by Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) delivered almost 60,000 products.

Qatar Post, in collaboration with HMC and PHCC, provides home delivery for drugs, medical reports, medical consumables, and dietary goods.

According to the data, HMC's pharmaceutical home delivery service delivered 56,436 things in 2024, whereas PHCC delivered 2,223 items during seven months in the same year.

Patients can access the HMC drug home delivery service by calling 16000 between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. everyday, Sunday through Thursday.

Patients can utilize the PHCC medication home delivery service by calling the appropriate number for their health centre or 16000 for further information. They can also contact their health centre over WhatsApp using the number provided on the PHCC website.

Items will be delivered within two days of your request.

Patients must have a valid health card, a payment card for medications/items and delivery costs, and know their home and street addresses. All patients can access this service anywhere in the country.
