The mega cruise ship 'Mein Schiff 6' arrived Doha on February 3, 2023. The tour is the ship's third voyage to Doha during Qatar Tourism and Mwani Qatar's 2022-2023 cruise season wherein the port received 2,435 tourists aboard Operated by Hamburg-based cruise line TUI Cruises.
Mein Schiff 6, sailing under the flag of Malta, is one of the largest fleets of Hamburg-based TUI Cruises that is capable of accommodating more than 2,500 passengers. Mein Schiff 6 is a mega ship similar to its sister vessel Mein Schiff 5, which made its maiden call to Doha Port during the 2019-2020 season. It measures 295 metres long and 35.8 metres wide, and boasts 17,895 m² of outside decks and 1,800 m² of spa and fitness areas.
Mein Schiff 6 offers a variety of amenities and facilities, including luxurious cabins, various dining options, and a range of entertainment and recreational activities.
At least 58 global cruise ships carrying approximately 200,000 visitors are expected to arrive in Qatar by the end of April 2023.
