The renowned architecture and design publication Dezeen has nominated the Museum of Islamic Art (MIA) as one of the Most Significant Buildings of the 21st Century.
The contestants are those included in the magazine's "21st-Century Architecture: 25 Years 25 Buildings" series, which highlights one noteworthy structure annually for the previous 25 years.
Voting is available on the official website of the magazine.
The Museum of Islamic Art, created by IM Pei, was named the first "mega-museum in the Gulf" and was nominated by Dezeen as the most important structure of 2008.
The winner will be revealed later this year, according to Dezeen.
