Minister of Commerce and Industry attends ‘World Government Summit’ organised by the UAE

NewsMinister of Commerce and Industry H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Qassim Al Thani participated in the activities of the World Government Summit 2023, which was organised by the United Arab Emirates under the theme “Foreseeing Future Governments” from February 13-15 in Dubai.
The Summit brought together a distinguished group of state leaders, heads of government, ministers, senior officials, decision makers, thought leaders, and specialists in commercial, industrial, investment, and economic affairs from around the globe. During the Summit the Minister attended a number of the Summit’s main sessions, including high-level and specialized dialogue sessions. Additionally, the minister met with H E Najla Bouden
Romdhane, Tunisian Prime Minister and the accompanying delegation. During the meeting, officials touched on the bilateral relations between Qatar and Tunisia and discussed ways to strengthen cooperation in various fields such as trade, investment, and different industries, all while exchanging views on the Summit’s agenda topics.
He highlighted the successful economic policies Qatar has put in place to support the private sector, and pointed out the incentives, legislations, and promising opportunities that are aimed at encouraging investors, businessmen, and business owners to invest in Qatar.
