The Amiri Diwan of Doha, Qatar, has officially declared the upcoming holidays for both public and private school employees and students, as announced in a social media post by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE). This decision extends the holiday period to include all educational staff and learners in the country.
The Amiri Diwan has announced that in recognition of the national unity showcased by the State of Qatar, as evidenced by the general referendum on the proposed constitutional amendments to the Permanent Constitution, Wednesday and Thursday, November 6 and 7, 2024, will be observed as official holidays. Work will resume for employees on Sunday, November 10, 2024.
