In an effort to better support ecotourism, the Ministry of Environment and Climate Change (MOECC), through the Natural Reserves Department, announced the soft opening of a new beach in the Sealine area that is exclusively for motorhome owners. The space is furnished with lighting, sewage, water, and power.
While offering a suitable atmosphere that satisfies the needs of this type of visitor, the beach only permits motorhome owners to stay for two nights. The Ministry is working to create entertainment choices for both Qatari motorhome owners and residents of the Gulf Cooperation Council nations, and the project is expected to be formally inaugurated in April of next year.
