NewsAccording to a senior official, the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) is ready to welcome students in a setting that will promote motivation and engagement for the upcoming academic year 2024–2025.
On Sunday, the 378,134 pupils registered in Qatar's public and private schools will resume their studies for the new academic year.
Mohammed Abdullah Al Maraghi, the director of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education's Health and Safety Department, stated that all schools have undergone maintenance procedures including cleaning their water tanks and replacing their water cooler filters in order to guarantee the kids' health and safety.
First Lieutenant Abdul Mohsen Al Ruwaili, the traffic media officer at the General Directorate of Traffic, stated that the directorate controls vehicle movement and reduces traffic congestion on roads and intersections. The Ministry of Interior is eager to provide a safe traffic environment free of traffic accidents.
According to him, a more thorough traffic plan has been created based on lessons learnt from earlier plans, which would improve security and lessen traffic accidents.
Al Ruwaili addressed awareness initiatives, stating that the department, through the Traffic Awareness Department, collaborates with the Ministry of Education and Higher Education to conduct annual back-to-school campaigns.
