MoEHE launched the tenth edition of the National Robotics Olympiad under the slogan “Earth Allies”

The tenth National Robotics Olympiad (NRO) has been introduced by the Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) with the theme "Earth Allies." 

Undersecretary of the Ministry of Education and Higher Education H E Dr. Ibrahim bin Saleh Al Nuaimi, assistant undersecretaries, team coaches, competition judges, volunteers, and the National Robotics Olympiad organising committee were present at the occasion. 

All boys' and girls' public and private school pupils from elementary, middle, and high school participated in the Olympiad's competitions. The school teams competed in a variety of categories, such as Robo Mission, Robo Sport, and Future Innovators, to demonstrate their creative problem-solving ability and technical robotics and artificial intelligence skills.

The presentation featured a unique “Be You” segment highlighting interviews with winning students representing Qatar in Gulf and regional contests. Among them was Abdul Ghani Al Saffar, a Doha Institute of Science and Technology cybersecurity major and former student of Ali bin Jassim bin Mohammed Al Thani Secondary School for Boys.
