MoI has launched the Public Warning System specifically designed to deliver informative warning messages to the public via smartphones

The Public Warning System was introduced by the Ministry of Interior (MoI) in association with service providers and pertinent government departments. Its purpose is to disseminate educational alerts to the general public using cell phones. The goal of these communications is to effectively manage emergencies, crises, catastrophes, and other critical events by reaching either a large audience or a targeted geographic region.
