MoI has reminded travellers not to carry luggage of other passengers with unknown contents

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) of Qatar has issued a reminder to travellers not to check bags for other passengers. 

"Carrying others’ bags without knowing their contents can delay your travel procedures and expose you to legal accountability," the Ministry stated in a video posted on X.

To protect themselves, the MoI encouraged citizens to remain vigilant. It stated that even while asking to carry someone else's bags might appear innocent at first, doing so may result in legal issues. 

Additionally, in order to minimise any liabilities and issues during flights, it advised individuals to constantly make sure that whatever they carry belongs to them.
