MoI has warned that capturing accident photos violates privacy laws and is subject to legal consequences

NewsThe Ministry of Interior (MoI) issued a warning, stating that taking accident images in an unauthorised manner is against privacy regulations and may result in legal action. Following the law shows that you are mindful of others' rights and protects them, according to a social media post from MoI.
Citing Article 333 of the Penal Code, the Ministry states that an individual who unlawfully enters into another person's private life without that person's agreement faces a maximum sentence of two years in jail and/or a fine of no more than QR10,000.
