MoI has won the Arab Government Excellence Award for Best Smart Government App for Metrash2

The Arab Government Excellence Awards, which are run by the General Secretariat of the Arab League, have given the Ministry of Interior (MoI) the Arab Government Excellence Award for Best Smart Government App for Metrash2. The awards are intended to recognize innovative approaches to government work in the Arab world.

The Arab League Headquarters in Cairo hosted an official event today to give the award.

Along with a number of MoI personnel, Brigadier General Abdullah Khalifa Al Muftah, the head of the Qatari delegation and MoI's director of public relations, attended the ceremony.

The Metrash 2 App emerged victorious following a fierce competition with other leading government applications from the Arab world. The app was acknowledged for its technological innovation and utilization of state-of-the-art digital technologies, offering a variety of government services in a seamless and effective manner around-the-clock. As one of the most prominent instances of digital transformation in the area, it also complied with the strictest security and privacy regulations.
