NewsModern technology, machinery, and gadgets were on display at the Ministry of Interior's pavilion, drawing a lot of interest from different Ministry divisions.
The General Traffic Department, which included cutting-edge mobile radars, was commended for its achievements. High-resolution imaging is used by these radars to monitor and categorise several traffic infractions at once. Additionally, they make it possible to remotely monitor infractions using smartphones and tablets.
The pavilion also featured the newest drones for traffic control, which can monitor traffic flow, record traffic incidents, identify infractions, analyse data, provide assistance during natural catastrophes, and help plan public events.
The General Traffic Department displayed a police car and a motorbike from its recently updated fleet, in addition to unique vehicle plate types given for occasions like the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022, the Ministry added.
The General Directorate of Industrial Security demonstrated cutting-edge inspection and detection devices in the field of industrial security that can quickly analyse materials in products, packages, and luggage, expediting inspection procedures. Because of their durability and portability, these devices may be easily deployed in a variety of settings.
The department also showcased a portable multifunctional gadget running Android as one of its advancements. This gadget can check identification documents, admission permits, and locations with great precision and is made to operate in difficult weather situations. The display also included a contemporary hydrogen sulphide gas detection apparatus.
Along with the department's newest patrol cars, the Establishments and Authorities Security Department, represented by its Support and Backup unit, displayed a variety of equipment utilised in various tasks.
