MoPH launched the 4th phase of the 'Start Now' campaign; encourages community to adopt a healthy lifestyle

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) in collaboration with Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC) and Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC), launched on Wednesday the 4th phase of the 'Start Now' campaign. The campaign aims to encourage the community to adopt a healthy lifestyle.

In its fourth phase, the campaign focuses on helping community members make healthier choices by reducing the consumption of sugar, salt, and fat, and how to read food labels. This campaign comes as a continuation of the Ministry of Public Health's efforts to support the adoption of healthy lifestyles which are in line with the health strategies and the Qatar National Vision 2030.

The campaign will run throughout the month of March, which is internationally known as Nutrition Month. The Gulf Nutrition Week also falls within this month (7th -13th March), which raises awareness about the importance of healthy nutrition.

As part of the campaign, awareness messages and videos will be published continuously on social media and websites.

The 'Start Now' campaign was launched in 2017, and during the first three phases of the campaign, the focus was on raising awareness of regular physical activity, choosing healthy foods and beverages, and encouraging healthy lifestyle.
