A national patient safety event reporting system is being developed by the Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) to record, evaluate, and draw lessons from events that may endanger patients.
Patient safety concerns, risks, and/or occurrences will be recorded via a national incident and learning reporting system, which aims to prompt action, promote dialogue, reaction, learning, and improvement.
The providers, integrated care, and patient experience are the focal points of the second pillar of the third National Health Strategy, "Excellence in service delivery and patient experience." The objective is to enhance public confidence in the calibre and uniformity of care provided throughout the system, bolstered by the modernising and integration of care delivery.
