Mowasalat provided comprehensive transportation services during the AFC Asian Cup 2023

Complete transport services were offered by Mowasalat (Karwa) during the 2023 AFC Asian Cup. Mowasalat (Karwa) has once again shown itself to be a transportation leader by exhibiting a dedication to efficiency and quality and by providing smooth transit for officials, teams and spectators throughout the competition.

3,389,040 passengers were transported during the event by the Tournament and Public Bus Services Team of Mowasalat (Karwa), with January 31 marking the biggest day of the event and a record-breaking day.

This accomplishment demonstrates the company's capacity to provide exceptional service on a large scale once more.

Mowasalat (Karwa) ran a fleet of 900 buses during the Asian Cup, with a focus on environmental sustainability and 50% of the cars being electric, to fulfil demand. Reflecting the international nature of the occasion, a committed team of 1,000 drivers and 500 ground and support personnel from over 54 countries supported the operation.

Tailored transportation solutions for the 24 National Teams, officials and referees, international VIPs, and media people were among the specialised services provided to meet the needs of the Local Organising Committee (LOC). By providing park-and-ride alternatives for Lusail Stadium and metro shuttle services to important stadiums including Al Bayt, Al Janoub, Al Thumama, and Abdula Bin Khalifa, Mowasalat (Karwa) improved the fan experience.

Additionally, it offered participants first-rate limo and taxi services. Karwa supported the smooth flow of spectators to and from the games by providing a smooth, safe and enjoyable transportation experience with designated ranks at every stadium.
