National Sports Day 2025 Award was launched to honor agencies that promote sports culture

The National Sports Day 2025 Award was introduced by the National Sports Day Committee on Monday to recognise businesses that encourage a sports culture among their employees. 

In a press conference held in Lusail Sports Hall, Advisor to the Minister of Sports and Youth, Abdulrahman bin Musallam Al Dosari, revealed the specifics of the prize, which is directed towards both state and commercial entities. Al Dosari, who also serves as the National Sports Day Committee Chairperson, claimed that the award encourages companies to provide a healthy and active work environment for their employees and promotes sportsmanship and public health in Qatari society. According to him during the press conference, the decision was made in appreciation of the efforts made to plan year-round sporting activities in keeping with the National Sports Day vision, which views sports as a sustainable lifestyle. 

The National Sports Day account must be mentioned, along with images and videos of the competing agencies' events posted on social media with the hashtags #In_Time and #Sports_Is_Life. They must also complete the event form available on the Ministry of Sports and Youth website, which includes providing information about the event and the number of participants.

Four factors will be used to determine the contending agencies' point totals: the quantity, duration, and participation of each event, as well as the number of agency employees taking part in the Sports for All calendar. 

Abdullah Al Dosari, Director of activities and Activities at Qatar sporting For All (QSFA), gave an overview of the 750 free sporting activities that the organisation offers to the public year-round.
