Natural flower arrangement at Al Wakrah Municipality recorded as the largest in the world in Guinness World Records

The Guinness World Records says that the natural floral arrangement that was unveiled yesterday by the Ministry of Municipality, represented by Al Wakrah Municipality, is the largest in the world. The bouquet is six metres long and six metres wide. It is made up of 5,564 locally grown flower seedlings of the "Petunia" kind that have been thoughtfully chosen and creatively arranged in a variety of hues.

The inaugural event was held in Katara's Wisdom Square and was coordinated by the Al Wakrah Municipality and Katara Cultural Village. The Al Wakrah Municipality's Director-General, Engineer Mohamed Hassan Al Naimi, Salem Saeed Al Muhannadi, Ambassador Mohammed Khamis Al Kuwari, and Municipal Council Member Saeed Ali Al Mari were present. A throng of visitors from Katara was joined by representatives from the Katara Cultural Village, including Mohammed Al Shahwani, head of the literature department, and Shahin Al Kuwari, head of the archives department, as well as local officials and a Guinness World Records representative.

This feat is a part of Qatar's many notable successes. A number of works have been registered with the Guinness World Records thanks to efforts.
