The first Fishing Competition of the year is being held by Old Doha Port, in association with the Beach Management of Katara Cultural Village, and is open to all fishing lovers in Qatar.
Participants will get the opportunity to demonstrate their fishing prowess for a chance to win prizes totaling up to QR 100,000, which will be given to the first 10 place winners, on May 31, 2024, at Containers Yard.
To sign up for the tournament:
- Candidates have to be citizens of Qatar.
- One resident of Qatar and a national of the GCC may be on each team.
- All teams and participants must guarantee that their boats comply with Old Doha Port's safety procedures by providing all essential safety and security documents.
- The deadline for applications is May 26, 2024.
To register, stop by Containers Yard, Container 13, between 9 am and 2 pm.
