The Philippine Embassy in Qatar has declared that the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) for students residing in Qatar will take place at the Philippine School Doha on November 21, 2024.
According to a social media post from the embassy, "The University of the Philippines (UP) Office of Admissions, in partnership with the Embassy of the Republic of the Philippines in Doha, is making the University of the Philippines College Admission Test (UPCAT) more accessible to both Filipino and non-Filipino students based in Qatar who aspire to enroll in the country's leading university.
Interested applicants are invited to contact either the Philippine School Doha (jerome.constantino@psdqatar.com) or the Philippine International School Qatar (guidanceoffice@pis-qatar.com) to obtain application forms and additional information.
The application submission deadline is set for November 7, 2024. Philippine passport holders will have their application fee waived, while non-Filipino applicants must pay a non-refundable fee of USD 100.
Requirements:
• Applicants should be senior students anticipating graduation in 2025.
• Final grades from the four (4) high school years prior to graduation must be submitted.
• Applicants must not have previously taken the UPCAT or any college courses before the academic year 2024-2025.
