Lusail's Qataifan Island North is ready to welcome half a million visitors daily with many surprises. According to company officials, Qataifan Island North will provide entertainment and accommodation for the hundreds of thousands of football fans who will come to Qatar for the World Cup. Qataifan Island North will be the main tourist attraction in Qatar.
The main attractions of Qataifan Island are Camp, Arabian Village, Al Thuraya Village and Beach Club with 1800 luxury Arabian tents for football fans to stay. The island has four clinics and a 4000 car parking facility. Many entertainment programs are organized on the beaches during the months of November-December.
Meryal Water Park on the island will be the largest water park in the region. Located on the opposite side of the island is the water park, which consists of 36 water rides and an iconic tower. It is connected to the park by a bridge over the water.
Spread over an area of 17,700 square meters, the Arabian Village will have a separate pavilion for each Arab country. Al Turaiya Village has many restaurants and daily live music shows.
