Qatar Airways becomes principal partner IPL cricket team Royal Challengers Bangalore

Qatar Airways is taking a leap into Indian sports also. It debuts as the main principal partner of the Indian Premium League (IPL) cricket team - Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB). The three-year contract is worth Rs 75 crore.

In the IPL season starting on 31st of this month, RCB will be playing with the jersey written on Qatar Airways. The jersey was released by Captain Du Plessis, Virat Kohli and Glenn Maxwell at a ceremony held in Bengaluru the other day.

A Qatar Airways hospitality lounge is also set up at RCB's home ground, the Chinnaswamy Stadium. As the main sponsor of the team, Qatar Airways has also introduced a special package for fans to watch IPL matches. Fans who come as part of the package have a variety of offers, including a photo shoot with Kohli, a team training session and a chance to meet the players.
