In conjunction with Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar Airways has launched new menu items that are produced locally from organic farms in Qatar, signalling the beginning of environmental festivities. Passengers departing from Doha may enjoy the airline's newest, delectable offerings till March 2024.
Upon entering the World's Best Business Class Cabin, travellers will be welcomed with specially crafted drinks that draw inspiration from the Horticultural Expo. Ghanim Al Sulaiti, a well-known authority on healthy cuisine from Evergreen Organics, has carefully selected these beverages. Passengers will be treated to a special à la carte meal by cabin crew, featuring a new Super Food Salad produced with organic vegetables from Safwa, a farm in Qatar and a subsidiary of Alfardan Group, whose primary goal is supplying premium local products.
Passengers in economy class are also welcome to take part in the Expo celebrations. The Expo's vibrant hues will be showcasing on the utensil bands, while dessert selections will include a chocolate disc with the event's emblem on it.
All passengers will be shown a trailer video of the Horticultural Expo by the acclaimed Oryx One Inflight Entertainment, which aims to entice them to experience the international event firsthand. Passengers will also be able to view over 30 horticulture-related shows on a dedicated Expo Channel, which guarantees an unforgettable in-flight gardening experience.
Homegrown, Martha Knows Best, Learning From Nature, Container Garden, Agritech and the Future of Farming, How to Save a City, The Future of Water, The Plastic Predicament, Vegetable Garden, and many more are on the schedule for Oryx One Expo Channel.
About three million foreign tourists are expected for Expo 2023 Doha, which takes place in the picturesque Al Bidda Park from October 2023 to March 2024. The six-month event, overlooking the Arabian Gulf, will provide a wide range of activities, with a focus on creative ways to prevent desertification and featuring stunning gardens, thought-provoking presentations, art, and gastronomy.
