NewsOn Thursday, January 2, 2025, Qatar Airways landed its first resume flight at Abha International Airport (AHB). The airline will operate two weekly flights to Abha, providing seamless connectivity across Qatar Airways' broad global network of over 170 destinations.
Qatar Airways now serves 11 locations in Saudi Arabia, including Abha, AlUla, Dammam, Jeddah, Medina, NEOM, Qassim, Riyadh, Tabuk, Taif, and Yanbu.
This new route will make travel easier for tourists and business visitors. By increasing access to the Aseer region, which is famed for its natural beauty and cultural heritage, these flights will enhance local economies, generate job opportunities, and highlight the Kingdom's various attractions to a global audience.
