Qatar Airways to relocate its global headquarters to Msheireb Downtown Doha in 2025

NewsQatar Airways revealed its ambitious intentions to move its worldwide headquarters to Msheireb Downtown Doha in 2025. Eng. Saad Al Muhannadi, vice chairperson of the board of directors of Msherieb Properties, was present during a signing ceremony held at Qatar Airways' main office to announce the news.
Situated in the center of Doha, the new offices will provide Qatar Airways staff with cutting-edge amenities spread across four connected buildings, just nine kilometers from the airline's hub operations center, Hamad International Airport (DOH).
The new location, which is just 10 meters from Msheireb Metro Station, where all Doha Metro lines intersect, would improve accessibility for Qatar Airways' Doha-based staff.
Msheireb Downtown Doha provides a strategic location that facilitates easy connectivity throughout the city and incorporates Qatar Airways into a flourishing center of technical innovation and neighborhood-focused growth. The new headquarters is equipped with state-of-the-art energy-efficient technology and intelligent infrastructure to maximize the airline's daily operations. The world-renowned SmartScore certification, which is for smart buildings, has already been obtained by the new Qatar Airways headquarters.
The Qatar Airways Group, which presently operates out of three different buildings in the city's Old Airport neighborhood, is moving its offices for the first time. Msheireb Properties, a real estate development business and part of the Qatar Foundation, is the owner of the new office towers.
Msheireb Downtown Doha, the world's first fully constructed smart and sustainable city area with Platinum Leadership in Energy and Environmental architecture (LEED) certification, combines modern architecture with Qatar's architectural legacy.
