Qatar attracted more than three million tourists in 2023, making it one of the most popular destinations

According to Qatar Tourism Chairman Saad bin Ali Al Kharji on Thursday, the country brought in over three million visitors in 2023, making it one of the most sought-after travel destinations in the area.

Al Kharji stated that other Arab countries might utilise Qatar's hosting of the 2022 FIFA World Cup and its extraordinary success as a model to grow their tourist industries. He made this statement at the commencement of the 26th session of the Arab Ministerial Council for tourist in Doha.

He also mentioned the three important international events that Qatar is hosting this year: the Kiteboarding World Cup, the Geneva International Motor Show, which is being staged for the first time outside of Switzerland, and Expo 2023 Doha for Horticulture, which is the first international horticultural exposition in the Middle East.

The nation is also preparing to host a number of other events, most notably the Web Summit conference and the AFC Asian Cup in 2023.
