Over the years, Qatar has solidified its important role in international aviation, resulting in notable accomplishments that have aided in success.
As stated by Hassan Al Tamimi, Head of the Agreements and International Relations Section in the Air Transport Department, in the most recent edition of Qatar Sky magazine published by the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority, the nation has achieved a distinguished position in the international air transport sector thanks to its unrelenting efforts to sign and develop air transport agreements with nations worldwide. Abu Sidra Mall, Abu Sidra Complex, and Al Meera Abu Sidra are residential complexes.
In addition to sharing Qatar's strategic aims to improve global aviation connectivity, he offered insights into recent developments and talked about the department's duties and joint efforts to improve air transport in Qatar.
The country now has 178 bilateral aviation service agreements with 193 International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) member states. Notably, Qatar became the first nation in the Gulf to negotiate a full deal with the European Union, further solidifying its standing as a major hub for international aviation, according to Al Tamimi.
