Qatar Islamic Bank and Visa announces the winners of the highly anticipated cards summer spends campaign

The highly anticipated cards summer spending campaign winners have been revealed by Visa and Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB). Three BMW iX40 electric automobiles were among the thrilling prizes up for grabs in this promotion, which gave QIB Visa cardholders the chance to win them. A total of 77 winners shared a QR770k cash reward during an 11-week period (from June 25 to September 9, 2023) that was distributed to them.

QIB decided to give away electric automobiles as the top prizes in keeping with the Qatar National Vision 2030 and the bank's sustainability priorities. These special electric vehicles were up for grabs to cardholders who made overseas transactions with their QIB Visa Debit or Credit Cards and domestic purchases with their Visa Credit Cards. The names of the three lucky winners of the coveted grand prizes—three brand-new BMW iX40 electric cars—were picked at random and are Abdulla Nasser AlHajri, Masoud Ibrahim Al Marri, and Essa Ali Al Muhannadi. The grand prize winners were cordially welcomed to pick up their electric cars and enjoy QIB's hospitality at the Al Sadd Branch.

Along with the main prizes, 77 fortunate winners who met the requirements for the draw by making purchases totaling at least QR500 during the campaign period also earned cash awards of QR10,000 apiece. The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MOCI) oversaw the computerised mechanism used to perform these drawings.
