Qatar National Library offers more summer activities for kids, teens and adults

Qatar National Library (QNL) continues its summer season with more number of programs and activities for kids, teens, and adults that center on subjects including skill development, culture, health awareness, the arts, and literature. 

QNL launched their 3rd edition of summer camp starting from July 23rd and ending on 11th August 2022 which includes eight sessions that help young people explore their interests.

The library is working with Sidra Medicine to arrange a breastfeeding awareness event on August 4 as well as educational workshops that will feature interviews with nutrition, physiotherapy, and mental health experts from Sidra Medicine as part of its support for World Breastfeeding Week. 

QNL is alo planning to arrange lots of other programs and workshops as part of a special research series that includes seven sessions on academic writing skills and presentations, writing literary reviews and reviewing doctoral studies, conducting research analysis using quantitative and qualitative tools, enhancing research visibility as well as the skills necessary to write an effective theoretical discussion in research papers.

Zakaria Al-Hakkar, Senior Information Specialist at Lusail University will be the chief guest at QNL on August 16 to give a talk about the relationship between the library, society and sports and the importance of sports libraries. 

It is said that the library will host a "musical poetry evening" On August 20th and while listening to Dr. Mahrous Borayek and Dr. Omar Hazzaa recite their Arabic poems, the Artist Riyad Bouallam will play music to the tunes of the oud .
