NewsAccording to Eng. Abdulaziz Ali Al Mawlawi, CEO of Visit Qatar, the State of Qatar is on course to meet its challenging target of drawing 6 million tourists annually by 2030. According to him, there will be a lot going on in the next four months that will draw a lot of people, both domestically and outside.
He stated that Qatar has a wide variety of tourism attractions and that the nation has spent many years building a strong infrastructure to draw both domestic and foreign visitors. Qatar has also worked to enhance its tourism industry with the backing of its leadership. He said that, among many other tourist attractions, Qatar boasts an integrated infrastructure that includes world-class museums, retail centres, hotels of various sizes, public transit, and cultural tourism.
Qatar has long acknowledged the tourist industry's major influence. This dedication is demonstrated by the Third National growth Strategy for 2024–2030, which was recently unveiled and aims to realise the Qatar National Vision 2030. It provides a blueprint for the next stage of Qatar's growth.
The strategy lists the tourism industry as one of its primary priority areas and emphasises how important it is to the nation's attempts to diversify its economy and promote sustainable growth.
Qatar is quite accessible due to its strategic location at the intersection of the East and the West.
Relaxing poolside retreats and exhilarating adventures are just a few of the unique experiences that Qatar has to offer with its contemporary cityscape, opulent hotels, and immaculate beaches along the Arabian Gulf.
A wide variety of entertainment, diversions, and first-rate hospitality are offered in Qatar. A high safety index rating, cutting-edge infrastructure, an airport and national carrier with several awards, easy access to public transit, and liberal travel visa regulations all contribute to the nation's thriving tourist industry.
