Qatar Rail launches initiatives promoting tourism and encouraging visitors to use Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks

Every year on September 27, Qatar Railways Company (Qatar Rail) observes World Tourism Day. To celebrate, the company has introduced a number of programs designed to boost tourism in Qatar and entice travellers to take advantage of the flawless travel experience and top-notch amenities offered by the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram networks. 

These programs are being started in cooperation with important tourism industry partners as part of Qatar Rail's dedication to elevating the country's standing as a top travel destination and bolstering measures to improve the year-round travel experience for both locals and visitors.

The firm began giving specifically crafted experiences for tourists and passengers on layovers in Doha, with a professional guide presenting them to the city's main sights, on the metro before World Tourism Day. 

The inaugural trip, which went via the National Museum and Souq Waqif stations, was scheduled before to World Tourism Day at Msheireb Station. Visitors had a great experience on the trip, which showcased Qatar's tourist and cultural legacy.

Furthermore, Qatar Rail disclosed that it has partnered with Hamad International Airport to initiate a program that provides free day passes to anyone entering Qatar via the airport. The purpose of this three-day promotion, which begins on September 26, is to entice tourists to explore the Doha Metro and Lusail Tram and to quickly get from one tourist spot to another.
