Abderrahman Samba of Qatar successfully defended his Asian Games gold medal in the 400m hurdles with a season-best time of 48.04sec at the Hangzhou Olympic Sports Centre Stadium.
Qatar's Bassem Hemeida placed second with a personal best time of 48.52sec, completing the country's spectacular one-two.
Xie Zhiyu of China finished third in 49.16 seconds.
