With preliminary data from Qatar's Civil Aviation Authority showing that there were 4.189 million passengers in February 2025, the country's aviation sector is growing steadily. Despite indicating a healthy number of travelers, this indicates a 4% decrease from the same month in 2024.
The total number of passengers, even with the decline, shows how strong Qatar's aviation sector is still, especially considering that it has continuously been a hub for international flights, linking passengers from all over the world. This traffic is still mostly driven by Qatar Airways, the state-owned flag carrier, which supports Qatar's standing as a major Middle Eastern aviation hub.
