The Umm Al Seneem park has officially opened in the Al Rayyan Municipality as announced by the Ministry of Municipality on its Twitter account on 1 November 2022.
The park received Guinness World Record for the longest air-conditioned pedestrian & jogging path with a length of 1,143 meters (3,750 feet). Ashghal Qatar, presented by The Supervisory Committee of Beautification of Roads & Public Places in Qatar, announced that they won this merit on 17 October 2022.
The Umm Al Seneem park includes 88,400sqm of green spaces, 912 trees, 1,135 meters of cycling path, 1,143 meters of pedestrian & jogging path, 3 exercising areas prepped with fitness equipment, 2 kids' playing areas, and 40 bicycle stands.
This is the 5th project of Ashghal Qatar to be awarded a Guinness World Record.
