Qatar signs several air services agreements and MoUs with countries participating in "ICAN2024"

NewsThe State of Qatar has inked many memorandums of understanding and air services agreements with various nations taking part in the ICAO Air Services Negotiation "ICAN2024," which is presently taking place in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
A memorandum of understanding (MoU) to increase transport rights between the two nations was signed by the State of Qatar and Cuba, coupled with an initial air services agreement.
Positive outcomes came from the bilateral discussions between Malawi and Qatar during the event, which led to the first signing of an MOU in the area of air transport and an agreement on air services.
Additionally, Qatar inked an MOU with Cambodia, Canada, and Uganda, and an air services agreement with Suriname.
Mohamed Faleh Al Hajri, who presides over the Qatar Civil Aviation Authority (QCAA), signed these agreements and memorandums of understanding.
The UK, Hong Kong, Tanzania, Malaysia, South Korea, Nigeria, and Switzerland's civil aviation authority also had bilateral discussions with the QCAA.
To improve collaboration in civil aviation and fortify relationships in the air transportation industry, Al Hajri held separate meetings with the directors and leaders of these authorities.
