The first Qatar Tourism Awards (QTA) were held on Thursday at the Raffles Doha, where Qatar Tourism held a vibrant event to reveal the winners. The awards recognised the exceptional efforts made by several groups and people to improve the quality of the visitation experience in Qatar. In collaboration with the United Nations World Tourism Organisation (UNWTO), Qatar Tourism introduced QTA.
Saad Ali Al Kharji, the chairman of Qatar tourist, expressed gratitude to the people and companies that supported the country's tourist sector.
The three main areas that the QTA concentrated on are Service Excellence, Cultural Experiences, and Smart Solutions. These categories collectively draw attention to various facets of the tourist experience.
