Qatar Tourism has installed an official monument that has the official Doha Arab Tourism Capital 2023 emblem, at Doha corniche

In honour of Doha's historic designation as the Arab Tourism Capital for 2023, which was given by the Arab Ministerial Council earlier this year, Qatar Tourism has erected an official monument on the Doha Corniche.

The monument is situated in a picturesque spot on the Corniche and has the official Doha Arab Tourism Capital 2023 emblem. Doha Capital of Arab tourist 2023, which depicts the city of Doha as a cutting-edge tourist hub steeped in its rich cultural past, served as the inspiration for the monument's design.

Doha has welcomed an outstanding start to the year after receiving the coveted accolade, which has benefited Qatar's tourist industry. Qatar recorded its greatest first quarter of foreign visits ever in 2023 with more than a million people.

Qatar Tourism announced the re-launch of the Hayya platform in April, urging travellers who now require a visa to Qatar to take advantage of the nation's well-known warm Arabian hospitality and wide-ranging tourist attractions. The Hayya platform streamlines the visa application procedure for Qatari business and tourist visas.
