Qatar Tourism partners with Expo 2023 Doha to train more than 800 staff and volunteers

With the help of Expo 2023 Doha and Qatar Tourism, over 800 employees and volunteers will get training for the significant event. As part of its Service Excellence Academy, Qatar Tourism provides two distinct training packages, both of which are intended to enhance the traveller experience.

Over 210 employees of Expo 2023 Doha have received classroom training from Qatar Tourism thus far as part of its Service Excellence In-person Training programme. To guarantee that every guest has a great experience, a specially created course has been created to improve participants' abilities and mentality in providing outstanding service to Expo visitors. The training fosters the development of participants' service-oriented attitude, communication skills, and problem-solving acumen by emphasising practical, hands-on activities and role-playing exercises.

Simultaneously, over 600 employees and volunteers of Expo 2023 Doha finished Qatar Tourism's groundbreaking online education course, "Qatar Host," which equips frontline workers with the abilities necessary to provide an unforgettable guest experience. Based on the degree of engagement that each profession has with both local and foreign visitors, the curriculum offers three distinct learning routes to suit different professional needs. For the employees and volunteers of Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar Tourism created a special course with elements specific to registration and reporting. Until the end of Expo 2023 Doha, Qatar Tourism's Service Excellence Academy will continue to provide training support.
