Qatar Tourism unveiled tourism roadmap; Visit Qatar unveiled global initiative, “Surprise Yourself”

At an event attended by the foreign minister and prime minister, H E Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Qatar Tourism announced its tourism roadmap. Visit Qatar debuted "Surprise Yourself," a new worldwide campaign geared toward families, couples, and groups of friends, during the occasion. This campaign invites people to make enduring memories and to connect in unexpected ways. It sets Qatar apart by showcasing the unique experiences that the nation offers and the sincere feelings that these encounters arouse, whether in the lushness of Banana Island or the cultural diversity of Souq Waqif.

Press releases, press channels, digital channels, outdoor advertising, television, social media, and 15 other overseas markets have all been used to promote the campaign. 

A different campaign aimed at the GCC is set to begin in the middle of October, asking residents of neighboring nations to learn about Qatar's best-of offers.

Several of Their Excellencies Ministers, ambassadors, business partners, stakeholders, and other dignitaries were present at the event.

With a wide range of noteworthy international sporting and cultural events, Visit Qatar is set for an exciting winter season. The much awaited return of Formula One, interesting events at Sealine, and shows by well-known local and international performers will all be major draws. Qatar International Food Festival, Doha Jewellery and Watches Exhibition are also planned. The Arab Cup and the Web Summit will return in 2025.
