Qatari artist Ahmed bin Majed Al Maadheed has unveiled a new sculpture 'Smile' at Doha Corniche

NewsAhmed bin Majed Al Maadheed, a Qatari artist best known for his painting "Tamim Al Majd," has presented a new sculpture in Doha Corniche.
The Chairperson of Qatar Museums, H E Sheikha Al Mayassa bint Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani, launched the newest piece of public art in Qatar yesterday.
'Smile' is a sculpture that invites people to spread joy and hope.
The artwork is situated across the calm shoreline of the nation along Doha Corniche.
After revealing the new artwork, HE Sheikha Mayassa posted on social media, saying: "Always a pleasure to see work by our Qatari artists on display all around Qatar!"
The reflecting sculpture "Toub Toub Ya Bahar" by Salman Al-Malek, "Gekrose" by Franz West, "Hear We Hear" by Suki Seokyeong Kang, and other recent works of public art are among those that "Smile" joins.
