QCB announced a reduction in QCB Deposit Rate, a reduction in QCB Lending Rate and a reduction in the Repo Rate

The QCB said yesterday that the QCB Lending Rate (QCBLR) would be lowered by 55 basis points to 5.70 percent, the QCB Deposit Rate (QCBDR) would be lowered by 55 basis points to 5.20 percent, and the Repo Rate (Repo Rate) would be lowered by 55 basis points to 5.45 percent. 

In a post on its official X platform account, QCB stated that it has reviewed the State of Qatar's current monetary policy and decided to lower the bank's current interest rates on deposits, loans, and repurchases, with effect from Thursday. This decision was made in accordance with the Monetary Policy Committee's decision regarding monetary policy tools.
