NewsThe Qatar Central Bank (QCB) has declared that it will begin a gradual digital transformation process in February 2025 for payments to various government ministries.
According to the QCB, the only way to pay fees to government agencies for various services will be through Qatar's national payment card, Himyan.
The measure intends to lower the expenses related to payment procedures and increase the degree of security in government transactions in Qatar.
The quality and flow of services offered to the nation's inhabitants, residents, and tourists would be unaffected by the change, the QCB reaffirmed.
Their convenience in accessing government services will be ensured by the timely announcement of additional details regarding the digital transformation process.
