QIB Mobile App now supports UPI transfers to India and Mobile Wallet Payments to Egypt

The award-winning QIB Mobile App has been enhanced with unique features that provide customers with better convenience, control, and security while managing their financial requirements. Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) is the premier digital bank in Qatar. International wallet transfers, such as UPI transfers to India and mobile wallet payments to Egypt, are now supported via the QIB mobile app. 

With UPI transfers to India, QIB users may send money to any recipient in India quickly and conveniently by utilising UPI ID to facilitate real-time account-to-account transactions. This function is quite convenient for Indian nationals living in Qatar who want to send money home with ease. Using the registered local mobile numbers, mobile wallet transfers to Egypt enable instantaneous transactions to any wallet in Egypt. 

This facilitates safe and instantaneous fund transfers, improving financial inclusion and providing a useful service to clients with connections to Egypt.

Additionally, the app offers a new function called EDAA NIN & IBAN Linking, which makes it easier to receive dividend payments through the EDAA network. Through the QIB Mobile App, investors in the Qatari Stock Exchange may link their QIB International Bank Account Number (IBAN) to their National Investor Number (NIN). By doing this, dividends are guaranteed to be deposited to their accounts immediately and unclaimed payouts are avoided.
