NewsIn December, the Qatar National Library (QNL) is preparing for Qatar National Day by holding a variety of cultural and artistic events as well as family-friendly educational and entertaining programs.
The Library will deliver a talk on Beit Qatraei, which is a portion of the territory that now comprises the State of Qatar, on December 1st as part of its exploration of Qatar's history.
The Library's Winter Camp, which will include a variety of fun and instructive activities, will turn its attention to youth the following day.
Art lovers will have the chance to learn about the development and history of photography in Qatar from two photographers who have been documenting Qatari culture since the 1980s on the same day.
The most recent episode of the Science Book Forum series, which premieres on December 3, introduces students to the craft of developing compelling science fiction characters.
Visitors will have the chance to take part in a special session on the creation of purple dye, the maroon hue that is associated with Qatar and its flag, on December 4.
The Qatar Philharmonic Orchestra will play a stunning show at the Library later that day.
Photographer Mohammed Al Baker will review the most notable bird species in Qatar and talk about his own photographic trip at "Adventures in Photographing the Birds of Qatar" on December 12th, which is open to wildlife enthusiasts and photographers.
The Qatar National Library will commemorate Qatar National Day on December 17, 2024, in a fun, creative, and traditional family-friendly setting.
Through karaoke sessions inspired by classic Qatari melodies and coloring activities that let kids show off their artistic side, the event—which features QNL mascot Ramly—will connect kids and young people to Qatar's rich legacy.
